- Since Ableton Live 9 we have a built-in spectrum in EQ Eight. Parametric EQs are very precise and they can cut or boost frequencies in a micro, surgical way. As a result of all this changeable parameters it can be hard to know which frequencies you should boost or cut and you might end up making the sound worse than making it better.
